About

Hi, I'm Marcela!

I create patterns that begin with stories and evolve into identity, where color, hand-drawn details and intention give meaning to every element.

Here, you'll discover more about my journey and the path that brought me here.

Welcome!

How It All Began

One of my earliest childhood memories is accompanying my mother, an economist, to her job as a treasurer at a women's fashion company. The owner welcomed me warmly and, whenever she could, taught me how to draw, sew and explore that world.By the age of seven, I was already captivated by the colorful world of fashion, and it never really left me.

When I started studying at PUC-Rio, that fascination only grew stronger. Still, I felt there was more to explore. I applied to Istituto Marangoni, and my journey took a new direction in Milan. There, I began studying Accessories Design and experienced the transformative challenge of living abroad in a world very different from my own.

Back in Rio de Janeiro, I continued my studies at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), in Urca, a vibrant creative environment that deeply shaped that chapter of my journey. It was during this time that I first stepped into the world of print design, working as an assistant at a design studio. I immersed myself in the creative process, moving between hands-on techniques — when markers were all the rage — and building compositions digitally.

After graduating, I took a different path and spent eight years running my own bridal atelier. Prints never disappeared from my life, but they took a back seat as the business grew. It was an intense period filled with learning and meaningful connections, opening doors to where I am today.

At the same time, the pace of that work became unsustainable for my health. That turning point brought me back to print design with a renewed sense of clarity and a deeper understanding of the creative path I wanted to follow.

In 2023, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to print design, close my previous business and pursue a path that felt more aligned with who I am — more creative, more colorful and more intentional.

At first, my main goal was to reshape my routine and make more room for creativity. Today, in 2026, I can say that I've built that path. Along the way, I've continued to learn, explore new approaches and refine my drawing skills — an ongoing process that continues to this day.

On a personal level, I've always expressed myself through prints. My perspective, my visual references and even my wardrobe reflect that, making this path feel like a natural, almost inevitable choice.

Without romanticizing the industry, because every kind of work comes with its challenges, I can say that I feel fulfilled by this decision. It's this experience that shapes the way I work with my clients, bringing together my perspective as a fashion stylist and my approach to print design, with intention, storytelling and identity at the heart of every project.
